Alhamdulillah, the First International Conference was held at PNEC on 12-13 November 2007. This mega event was a great success and immensely appreciated by the Chief of Naval Staff (CNS), Rector NUST, International Speakers and visitors. The conference attracted around 70 national and international papers from all over the world out of which after expert reviews more than 40 papers were papers are selected for presentation. Top three papers from all categories were selected on the basis of reviews and were submitted for publishing in the IST journals of their respective areas.
The event was able to attract good audience beside a lot of students were prohibited to enter. The event was inaugurated by the Commander Karachi (COMKAR). A panel discussion was also organized between the key industry representatives and prominent academicians on the topic of 'Industry-Universities Collaboration'. The event was concluded with the speeches of the CNS and Rector NUST followed by a dinner. It was decided at the end of the conference that it will be made an annual event at PNEC.
In the continuation of innovation and succession of the previous event, the Second  International Conference on Computer, Control & Communication (IC4) was being organized by Pakistan Navy Engineering College (PNEC), a constituent college of National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), in collaboration with IEEE Karachi Sector, Higher Education Commission (HEC) and Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (PCSIR).

IC⁴ was scheduled for 12-13 November, 2007 at PNEC, Karachi, Pakistan. The theme of the conference is to encourage upcoming generation into the field of research and indigenous development. The conference will provide a platform for researchers, academicians, engineers and end-users of research projects to exchange information, share their thoughts and present ideas for future development. Moreover the conference was resulted in the formation of linkages and partnerships for future endeavors.
